We are honored and deeply grateful to share the good news that Bishop Lanette Plambeck intends to appoint the Reverend Shandon C. Klein as the next Senior Pastor of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, with her appointment beginning July 1, 2026, and her first Sunday in worship on July 5.

Park Avenue UMC uses a single governance model. The Leadership Board makes overall decisions, while sub-groups handle specific issues and make recommendations. SPRC (Staff Parish Relations Committee) responsibilities are also managed this way.
