Giving: Pledged giving is about $30,000 below budget, but additional special gifts have helped keep Park on budget overall. To stay on track through the end of the year, we need pledged giving to catch back up.
Leadership: We are updating our leadership structure to align with UMC requirements, including establishing separate SPRC and Trustees committees. This will include new openings and opportunities to serve.
Building: We raised $9,672 for flooring improvements and continue to address needed repairs throughout our historic building. Park was not selected to move forward with the National Fund for Sacred Places grant this year; their feedback was that, with a new pastor, this is a time to establish priorities and alignment before beginning a major capital campaign. They encouraged us to apply again next year, which we plan to do.
Community Crisis Fund: We raised about $77,000 to respond to community needs, and an estimated $6,000–$8,000 remains to be distributed.
Looking Ahead: Planning has begun for the 2027 budget and stewardship campaign, while we continue exploring grants, building priorities, and ways to strengthen our community ministries.
