Youth Minister
This is a part-time position to provide spiritual direction to youth through Bible study, outreach, individual encouragement and group activities. We expect the Youth Minister to empower and provide opportunities for the Middle and High School youth of Park Avenue United Methodist Church to be a part of the ministry of our broader church body. They should also understand youth needs (as well as their guardians) and effectively serve people with diverse backgrounds.
Evening & Weekend Custodian
This part-time custodial role helps ensure Park Avenue’s building is clean, safe, and welcoming for church, tenant, and community gatherings through cleaning, light maintenance, and event setup. The position works closely with our Lead Custodian and Facility Manager, with a schedule focused on evenings and weekends and the possibility of additional weekday or weeknight hours.
Interim Sunday Worship Coordinator
This part-time position provides administrative support for Park Avenue’s Sunday morning and holiday services, both in person and online. Working closely with the worship team and communications lead, this role calls for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and able to take initiative with minimal direction. It’s an excellent fit for someone who values efficiency and hospitality while helping carry out the church’s vision of being a vibrant, Christ-centered, multiracial, multiethnic, and intergenerational community.
Interim Middle School Youth Leader
This part-time position provides spiritual direction to youth through Bible study, outreach, individual encouragement, and group activities primarily on Wednesday evenings. It also empowers middle and high school youth of Park Avenue United Methodist Church by providing them with opportunities to actively participate in the ministry of the broader church body. Park is committed to intersectional justice, including the full involvement and affirmation of LGBTQ+ youth.
