Listening Sessions
Bert Hepp and Karyn Sciortino Johnson will be facilitating three listening sessions in the coming weeks to gather your input on your priorities, hopes, and dreams for our new Senior Pastor. This is an important opportunity for all of you to provide input on the search for our new Senior Pastor.
We hope for broad representation from our congregation, including diverse groups such as racial, ethnic, cultural, socio-economic, gender, and sexual orientation, as well as age groups, that reflect our multicultural congregation.
There will be three 1-hour listening sessions. The dates for these confirmed sessions are:
Virtual Session via Zoom: Monday, October 27. This session will be held on a weekday evening.
In-Person Session: Sunday, November 2, following the worship service (estimated 11:30 AM–12:30 PM).
In-Person Session: Sunday, November 9, following the worship service (estimated 11:30 AM–12:30 PM).
If you are unable to attend one of the listening sessions, we will also send out a survey via email to gather your input on priorities, hopes, and dreams, using the same questions that will be discussed during the listening sessions.
The Leadership Board will use this information to make recommendations to the Conference about our congregation’s church profile, our top three missional priorities, and the characteristics and skills needed to focus their search for our next Senior Pastor.
We encourage you to attend one of these sessions to be a part of determining our future!
