Patricia Louise Marcroft passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 70 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a resident of Blaine, MN.

Born February 11, 1955, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Charles Benjamin Lee and Ruth Nielsen Lee. Pat grew up in Hopkins, MN.  She was a graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School.

She attended Gustavus Adolphus College before graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she studied Special Education. She worked as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher in the field of early intervention, serving infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. She began her career at Dakota County Developmental Learning Center before moving on to St Paul’s Developmental Achievement Center (Ramsey County Infant Program) and the White Bear Lake Area Schools (Early Intervention Alliance).

Pat was a long-time member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, where she could often be found in the preschool Sunday school. She always had a volunteer project and loved looking for ways to help others. She loved cheering on her kids and grandkids in sports, and she spent her free time on trivia, board games, and puzzles of all kinds. Pat enjoyed road trips, time spent with Bob in Panama City Beach, FL, and going on walks with neighbors.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Lee, and her brother Stephen Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Robert John Marcroft of Blaine. They were married 41 years; her daughter Erin Sharkey (Zoe Hollomon) of St. Paul, sons Thomas (Nate MacDowell) of Duluth, MN, and Lucas (Brittany) Marcroft, and grandchildren Antonio, Leo, and Leila Marcroft of Andover, MN. Brother Charles Francis Lee (Susan Tanabe) of Roseburg, Oregon. Many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Pat and Connie, Tiffany (Damion), and Whitney (Alex) Greig.  She leaves behind many loved ones and friends from her church community, work life, and neighborhood.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, from 4-7 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota (Minneapolis) at 4343 Nicollet Ave, S. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11 am at Park Avenue Church, located at 3400 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. Visitation will begin before the service at 10 am, and a reception will follow. 

Those wishing to make gift contributions are asked to send memorials in her name to Park Ave Church.
