Life at Park: Ministry Spotlights

Park Avenue is full of stories of God’s love at work, and throughout the year we’ll share those stories through Ministry Spotlights. Each one gives us a chance to see how God is moving and how you can join in that work.

This week, we’re sharing an update on Park Ave Youth—a place where young people are discovering God’s love, deepening their faith, and building lasting friendships.

Park Ave. Youth has had an incredibly vibrant couple of years with our interim staff and volunteer leaders! Not only have we continued Wednesday Youth Gatherings, Sunday Youth Worship, and “United by Love” Youth Choir, but this past year we held a Fall Camp, a Winter Getaway, and summer lake cabin retreats. We have seen more youth get involved over the years and we have a growing amount of adult leaders! At the end of this month our high school and college students will be traveling to Saint Louis for a 5-day Service & Learning trip.

We are still looking for a dedicated Youth Minister to add to our staff, but we have also decided it’s time to step out of the “Interim” season and build upon the great youth ministry experiences and team we already have. To make this happen to the full extent, we would love to invite more adults to join our team!
