Soul Liberation Festival

 

Reaching out to the beat of the neighborhood, for over 30 years, Park Avenue Church has welcomed neighbors to the black top for three days of great music, preaching, fellowship and fun.

The Soul Liberation Festival is one of the keys to the congregation’s mission. “We continue to struggle to break down the walls that divide us from one another.” Thanks to Soul Liberation, music is used to forge a common language of understanding that brings people from various ethnic and social backgrounds together. Soul Liberation focal point of unity, builds community, possibility and hope in folding chairs on the blacktop in the heart of the city.
