Legal & Medical Services
Families in our community need affordable medical and legal services. But often, government red tape or lack of insurance made it challenging or impossible to get the help they needed. Sometimes kids have to get by without the medical attention they need. Sometimes families miss a chance to enjoy the financial support they've earned from the government, just because they don't know how to get it. Park Avenue answers this need with free legal and medical clinics for our neighbors in partnership with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and St Mary’s Clinic. Hundreds of families are given the legal advice they need to thrive in a complicated world. Hundreds more receive excellent medical attention right at our clinic, and are referred to hospitals for additional services in challenging cases. Our professional volunteers —Doctors and Lawyers from throughout the Twin Cities— are committed to helping to meet the real and practical needs within the community. |
