Star Lake Family Camp
Family Camp 2007 will be June 15 – 17.
Star Lake Camp is a near-wilderness
experience for the Park
Avenue Family. There are no organized games or crafts at this camp...your time is entirely your own, with the possible exception of a group potluck on Saturday and a Sunday morning worship experience! There are horseshoes,
walking trails, a swimming beach nearby,
and fishing. This is time for
you with your family, meditating with
God, socializing with your neighbors or
“whatever!” We have a campfire on
Saturday night (weather permitting).
You will need a tent (no RV's) and camping supplies. The Campsite
fee of $16.00/night includes the site, firewood,
use of the bathhouse and the canoes. If you don't have a tent, we may be able to provide one (but we need to know at least two week s in advance if you will need one). There is no pre-registration, but please call Al & Terri Shoberg at 612.825.4688 and let us know if you plan to come. We will send you a map (or you can download one below).
